What to Pack for a Disney Cruise
You'll want to dress comfortably aboard your Disney cruise (it is a vacation, after all) and also bring appropriate attire for onboard activities including dinner, Port Adventures and on-shore excursions you may take on your own. Here are items you may want to include in your luggage.
The Basics
Pack these items in a day bag to keep handy when checking in or embarking (your luggage may not arrive at your stateroom until a few hours after boarding):

Camera and accessories (batteries, film, etc.)

(Note: This is the same insurance company that Disney Cruise Line, however when you go directly with the company there is better coverage and it’s less expensive.  Just check above if you want included and we will add to your package.

Once reservations are finalized, you may book your own excursions if you decide you want to go snorkeling, to the  Dolphin excursion,etc …Or feel free to just relax and enjoy the cruise ship. Note: Airfare  and airport transfers (incl. to/from Airport to Cruise ship) is not included in the cruise booking and may be booked at a later date. Based on current pricing the expected airfare cost is about $220 - $250. At times you can get deals for only $149 round-trip air to Orlando, FL, so be on the look out and LHLC will keep you informed or arrange bookings for you.  **Since the cruise is not until August 2012, some airlines have not even published their rates at this time but we will keep you posted regarding Southwest and other airlines.   The Disney roundtrip transfer (to and from airport to cruiseship in Florida) is $70 though Disney and can be booked up to 3 days prior to cruise departure.
